Vinny Pizzo - 1st Tenor & Lead Vocalist
Vinny sings lead vocals on those beautiful arrangements of Lenny Dell.
Vinny started singing on the street corners in Queens in the early 1960’s. He sang 2nd tenor and leads for "The Iridescents" releasing a couple of records in 1963.
Vinny later performed and sang lead with a couple of bands before and after serving in the army.
Vinny was the lead singer for “The Acchords” for 10 years before joining The Demensions as the 1st tenor/lead vocals.
Robin Robbert - Soprano/Lead and Background Vocalist .
Robin has been the Soprano/Lead and Background Vocalist since 2006 and continues to give the Demensions a sound that is very unique and so easily identifiable.
Robin delivers a sound so familiar to the Demensions versions of timeless classics and beautiful standard melodies for which the group has become known.
In 2015 she traveled with The Demensions to Cerritos California where Lenny Dell and Howie Margolin were inducted into the Doo Wop Hall of Fame.
Before joining The Demensions, Robin was seen in local area plays around North New Jersey.
Tommy Clemente - Baritone & Second Tenor.
Tommy is the Baritone and Second Tenor of The Demensions. He has been active in the music industry for many years. Here is a brief overview of Tommy’s career.
In the 1980s Tom reformed The Ovations that recorded "Who Needs Love" on the Jose label. He was instrumental in reforming The Twilight group that was based in New Jersey.
In the early 90s, he started a group called Starlight which was the opening act for Johnny Maestro and The Brooklyn Bridge. And in 1991, he merged Starlight with two of the original Demensions Lenny Dell and Phil DelGiudice (also known as Uncle Phil).
In 2015 he traveled with The Demensions to Cerritos California where Lenny Dell and Howie Margolin were inducted into the Doo Wop Hall of Fame. Tom has been with The Demensions for over 30 years and was fortunate to have sung with three of the original members.
When The Demensions are not performing, he plays keyboard and sings with a local tri-state group called The Tercels.
Tom also owns Ovation Music Co Inc., which is the managing company of The Demensions and The Tercels. As president of Ovation Music Company Inc., Tom handles sound reinforcement for major artists when needed.
